VANCOUVER, B.C. CANADA - Vancouver, B.C. - Berman Glass editions, manufacturer of premium pressure-formed architectural glass products, is pleased to announce the introduction of its new esto texture and the launch of its official website, www.bermanglasseditions.com.
Stemming from a partnership between glass artisan Joel Berman and Jordan Goldstein, Principal at Washington D.C. based design firm Gensler, the esto texture has a subtle depth and dimension that plays with light to create a variety of interpretations. esto features a random, multidimensional design with horizontal forms across an organic, textured background. Its two designers found their inspiration in images and patterns found in both the
natural and man-made world and in a manufacturing process that utilizes steel molds embossing the glass during its molten stage.
esto is available in sheets up to 80" (2040 mm) x 132" (3353 mm) in varying thickness: 5/32" (4mm), 1/4" (6mm), 5/16" (8mm) and 3/8" (10mm), and is suitable for a multitude of interior and exterior applications including partitions, light fixtures, walls, doors, tiles, furniture, floors, countertops, ceiling panels, windows and more.
esto will be featured in the 2005 AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in Las Vegas from May 19th – 21st. The texture will be highlighted in several booths including Authorized Distributors: Garibaldi Glass Industries (Booth #5143), Standard Bent Glass (Booth #4913) and KWIK-WALL (Booth #1249), Häfele (Booth #3624), Pilkington Glass (Booth #4036), and
